Out of the Woods — which the artist herself says is about “the fragility and breakable nature of some relationships” — is dramatic as all get-out, reliably cinematic with Swiftian fatalism (“We were built to fall apart / Then fall back together”). Heck, there’s even a car crash at the end. Swift is still a showstopper, a chart-topper, a PR genius, a brilliant businesswoman. But you know what’s most impressive about her? She keeps getting better.
